Are there articles I cannot freely see?

Yes. There are.
We take design protection very seriously and want to ensure that we can continue to offer you our unique & innovative laces.

All lace designs were made by us and/or for us.

As a consequence we made a difficult choice:

Showing only some designs freely & requiring a log in for all other available designs. This way there is some more security to keeping our designs.

This Is what CHANTY laces are made of

While the basis of every lace fabric is Polyamide (PA) and - for elastic laces - Elastane (EL), there is a possibility to mix it up.

We use natural, organic and recycled yarns - as well as some special yarns to put in some more variation.

We also use as much recycled material as possible.

We should all pay attention even to the basics and improve those!

Please note that each item is personally inspected by a member of the CHANTY team for quality control before it is packaged and sent out for delivery, thus ensuring that your item is in perfect condition when sent to you.

Nonetheless, in case the goods were faulty at the time of receipt we offer you the statutory guarantee. Please use the steps described in “How to Return” in such a case.

All Technical Information is derived from the average measured values of dyed material lots. The accuracy of these values depends heavily on the number of available dye lots that have been measured - which can vary from article to article.

The depicted technical values are the averages from the available lots. The actual technical values may vary up to 10 percent points.

Color Accuracy

Please note that although we do our best to represent our lace stock and colors with as accurately as possible, both in descriptions and imagery, colors may vary according to factors such as florescent lighting or the settings of your computer screen and can therefore only be an approximation of the actual product. In the occurrence of such a case, please understand that these potential discrepancies are unintentional.

Please be aware that if a Pantone colour is available in the product details, this colour name is only meant as an orientation and that the actual colour may vary.


Please be aware that goods such as lace cannot guaranteed always be the same, even if it is the exact article.

Therefore not only may the yarn vary some, but the role sizes may also differ from one another. While we are doing our best to avoid any discrepancies, they still may occur and will be communicated accordingly and as soon as possible, if not already evident.

In case of samples ordered, the color matching and technical specifications are not guaranteed and may vary.


How can I place an order?

Just click on the product you want to purchase, type in the quantity desired and click "add to cart". Go to cart and follow the instructions to check out.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

The minimum order quantity is 1 meter (or 1 piece, depending on article)

For custom production or design, the minimum quantities are individually calculated and offered.

Can I order samples?

Yes of course.

We want our customers to get the live experience, so the laces can be touched and colors can be seen in real life.

For all customers:

Samples can be ordered online at our upcycled shop.

If required we can offer samples based on the customers wishes, e.g. “only white and black” or “Width 16cm”, otherwise samples are chosen randomly.

10-20 hand samples can be chosen

Size: 30 - 50 cm

Lace ribbons: Ribbon width x 30 - 50 cm

Lace fabrics: A square piece of fabric, each side 30 - 50 cm

Do I have to register to order?

No. You can also order as a guest. Still, a minimum of information is still necessary to process an order and deliver it - thus your order data will be available to us to see.

There will not be a customer account if you order as guest.

Where can I find my order number?

After you place an order you will receive an order overview to the registered/provided email address.

At the top of the email you can see your order number "Order #1234"

Alternatively you can log into your account and check your "order history".

Just log into your account and go to your personal page - you will see an overview.

How can I check my order status?

As soon as your order gets shipped, you will receive an automated message to your provided/registered email address.

Any relevant information about the shipment of your order will be included in this email, like tracking number and courier used.

Will I receive an invoice?

You will receive an order overview with the order confirmation.

After shipment, the invoice will be added to your package and/or send to you per email.

We include the invoice in the package send. But we are still only human.

What about VAT?


Private customers or companies without VAT registration will have the VAT added on top of the price automatically.

Outside the EU the VAT will not be included. Additional duties and taxes may also apply and need to be settled by the customer.


For registered companies:

Please provide your valid company VAT number.

After we check validity, we will disable taxes on the products.

German companies will always have taxes applies.

How much does Shipping cost?

Depending on the quantity, lace fabrics will either be put onto a roll/spool and packed into cartons or, if the quantity is low, they may also be just folded and put into an envelope. The meterage per roll/spool varies depending on the width.

How are the articles packaged?

Depending on the quantity, lace ribbons will be put onto a roll/spool and packed into cartons. If the quantity is low, they may also be just folded.

The metrage per roll/spool varies depending on the width. As an orientation:

Lace Bands Width 0 - 10cm = Roll size 200m - 800m
Lace Bands Width 11 - 25cm = Roll size 40m - 80m

Depending on the quantity, lace fabrics will be put onto rolls with a length of 160cm and wrapped into plastic bags. If the quantity is low, they may also be just folded and packed into cartons.

The metrage per roll is approximately:

Lace Bands Width 120 - 140cm = Roll size 40m - 90m

Eyelash Lace have a pre-determines length of around 3-7m and will be put onto a roll/spool and packed into cartons.
If the quantity is low, they may also be just folded.

We are shipping all of our products from our warehouse in Germany, Roedermark (by Frankfurt Main).

Can I return unsatisfactory items?

While we give our outmost care to control the material, something may slip by nonetheless.

In case the quantity does not match (less then ordered to a noticeable degree) or the material arrives damaged (production defects), please drop us a message with the necessary information. Same if you notice anything else.

How do I return the items?

The cancellations policy is valid for end consumers.

We accept returns within 14 days after receipt of the goods.
To return your order, please follow the following steps:
